Been a customer of this place for well over 50 years. Never had a bad burger or fries or onion rings or dog (sausage or otherwise) .Never was served anything but fresh Ice Cold beer & always with a smile. Yes there have been many a high time or 2 in the joint shared by a multitude of Augustans. When my son was just a little fella I would take him in there the way my dad took me. (We never told his mom - it was our special place. He got to be a pretty good pool shot by age 8!) An absolute plethora of great lifetime memories here.

The best hamburger in town! Ive been eating here since i was a kid and the food has never changed, never frozen ground beef everything is fresh, i got french fries but their hand cut onion rings are amazing!! Definately check this place out if you havent. Cash only also so make sure you have cash.

I love the Sports Center. A down home place with down home people. The Best homemade hamburgers and onion rings. The service is always Super. Can't beat a Large Goblet of Killians or PBR with a hot juicy cheeseburger with grilled onions. Check out steak night and the pork chops. Always fresh and great service.

I have eaten here almost once a week for the last 5 weeks, I missed last week so 4 out of 5 weeks. Guys at work told me it's probably the best burger in the area. I got to say they were probably right. The onion rings are awesome too. It reminds me of little country bar nothing fancy but doesn't need to be. The people are great, service is good, you really can't ask for much more. If your looking for fancy, this might not be it, but if your looking for good food and good people here you go.
